Axe RNG Beginner Guide
Your first 30 minutes in Axe RNG set the trajectory for your entire account. Players who redeem codes, equip the right axe, and follow a structured upgrade path progress three to five times faster than those who randomly roll and chop. This guide gives you that structure.
Axe RNG is an incremental RNG lumberjack simulator: roll axes, chop trees, upgrade skills, hatch bees, collect honey, rebirth for Luck, and push zones. Every system connects. Weakness in one — like a bad axe or ignored bees — slows everything else.
Minutes 0-5: Codes and Setup
Before chopping a single serious tree, redeem every active code. Open Shop, scroll to the bottom code box, and claim each code from our active codes list.
Priority redemptions for new accounts:
- THANKYOU — Shiny Broad Axe. Equip immediately.
- CRYSTALS — 500 crystals for early shop upgrades.
- SMALLCHANGES — Speed and Luck potions for your first sessions.
- All remaining codes — potions, honey, and boosts stack over time.
Also claim free permanent Luck: like the game, favorite it, and join the Chopsy Games Roblox group for +1 Luck each. This takes 30 seconds and costs nothing.
Minutes 5-15: First Chopping and Skills
With Shiny Broad Axe equipped, start chopping trees in the starting area. Your goal is consistent clears — trees should fall without long pauses between each kill.
Spend your first Logs on chopping efficiency skills. This is the highest-return investment in the entire game. Faster chopping means more Logs per minute, which means faster everything else.
Common beginner mistake: rolling axes nonstop without farming. You need resources to support upgrades. Chop for 5-10 minutes, upgrade, then consider rolling.
Minutes 15-20: First Rolls and Axe Check
After your first farming session, do a small rolling session (10-20 rolls) without Luck potions to see what you get. If anything beats Shiny Broad Axe in chop speed, equip it. If not, keep the code axe.
Do not use Super Luck or Ultra Luck yet unless you have a dedicated 15-minute window. Save those for when you understand the keep/reroll decision. See Axe Tier List.
Minutes 20-25: Start Bees
If chopping feels stable — trees die at a reasonable pace — open the bee tab and hatch your first bee. Bees generate honey in parallel while you continue chopping and rolling.
Bees are not decoration. Ignoring them slows mid-game progression significantly. But do not hatch bees if you are still struggling to clear starter trees. Fix the axe first.
Minutes 25-30: Assess Zone Readiness
Evaluate whether to push to the next zone or farm longer. The test: can you clear 10 trees in your current area without stopping to upgrade? If yes, try the next zone briefly. If trees take 3x longer to kill, go back and farm.
Do not force zone progress. Players who enter harder areas underprepared waste more time than those who farm an extra 15 minutes in the current zone.
Beginner Action Table
| Step | Action | Why | Common Mistake |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Redeem all codes | Free axe, potions, crystals | Skipping codes and grinding manually |
| 2 | Equip best axe | Chopping speed drives everything | Forgetting to equip THANKYOU axe |
| 3 | Chop trees for Logs | Funds all upgrades | Rolling without farming |
| 4 | Upgrade chop skills | Multiplies all future income | Saving resources while chopping slowly |
| 5 | Hatch first bee | Starts honey progression | Waiting too long or starting too early |
| 6 | Test next zone | Finds your current power ceiling | Forcing hard zones undergeared |
| 7 | Claim group Luck | Free permanent Luck | Skipping free bonuses |
| 8 | Save Luck potions | Max value during roll sessions | Using Ultra Luck while farming trees |
After Your First 30 Minutes
Continue the rotation: farm, upgrade skills, roll when you have potions and time, hatch better bees, and push zones when comfortable. Read Skills Guide next for upgrade priority, then Rebirth and Luck when progress starts slowing.

The Beginner Mindset
Axe RNG rewards patience and systems thinking over frantic button pressing. The players who progress fastest redeem codes, equip upgrades immediately, invest in chopping efficiency, and save Luck potions for intentional sessions. RNG determines which axe you roll; your decisions determine how much value each roll creates.
Session 1: codes and setup. Session 2: farm and skills. Session 3: evaluate rebirth or zone push. This three-session framework prevents the overwhelm that causes beginners to quit.
