Axe RNG Zone Requirements

Updated: 2026-06-19 6 min read

Each Axe RNG zone expects more axe power, better skills, and smarter resource management than the last. This page provides preparation checklists for every progression phase so you know when you are ready to push forward — and when to farm longer in your current area.

Universal Preparation Checklist

Before entering any new zone, confirm:

  • Current zone trees clear at a comfortable pace
  • Best available axe is equipped (all slots filled)
  • Chopping efficiency skills are reasonably upgraded
  • You have resources for emergency skill purchases
  • Luck potions saved for rolling if current axe is borderline

Starting Area Requirements

Strength needed: Any axe that clears starter trees without long downtime

Resource focus: Basic tree progress and first skill upgrades

Before entering: Prioritize chopping efficiency before spreading into every system

First Zone Push Requirements

Strength needed: Axe strong enough to make current trees feel routine

Resource focus: Skill upgrades, tree clearing, early honey setup

Before entering: Roll for stronger axe, upgrade skills, start hatching bees

Bee and Honey Buildup Requirements

Strength needed: Steady chopping pace for parallel honey gain

Resource focus: Honey collection, bee hatching, repeat tree clears

Before entering: Do not stop rolling axes; bees support the loop

Rebirth-Supported Progression Requirements

Strength needed: Current progress slowed enough that Luck is worth more

Resource focus: Luck, stronger rolls, rebuilt skills, zone recovery

Before entering: Claim group Luck bonus, rebirth at slowdown, roll first

Later Zone Grind Requirements

Strength needed: Strong axe backed by skills, honey, and rebirth Luck

Resource focus: High-value chopping, honey, Luck, zone unlocks

Before entering: Rotate rolling, skills, bees, and rebirth

When Requirements Are Not Met

If a zone feels impossibly slow, you entered underprepared. Return to the previous zone, farm resources, roll for a better axe with Luck potions, upgrade skills, and try again. This is normal — not failure.

The Gear Check Method

Before entering a new zone, run a gear check: best axe equipped in all slots, chopping skills at reasonable level for your cycle, bees producing honey, Luck potions saved for emergency rolling if the zone is too hard. Failing the gear check means preparing more, not pushing anyway.

Frequently Asked Questions

What axe strength do I need for the next zone?
Enough that current trees feel routine before moving. If new zone trees take 3x longer, go back and upgrade.
Do I need honey to unlock zones?
Honey helps mid-game but early zones primarily need axe power and skills. Build honey before late pushes.
How much Luck do I need for new zones?
No fixed number. Higher Luck helps you roll axes strong enough for harder trees. Rebirth is the main permanent source.
What skills are required per zone?
Chopping efficiency is always first. Resource gain second. Zone-specific gates may require minimum upgrade tiers.
Can I enter a zone underleveled?
You can, but progress will be extremely slow. Better to prepare in the previous zone.
What is a strength check?
A self-test: can you clear 10 trees in your current zone without stopping to upgrade? If yes, consider pushing.
Do zone requirements change with updates?
Possibly. New zones and rebalance patches may shift thresholds. Check our release page after updates.
What if I am stuck in a zone?
Roll for better axe with Luck potions, upgrade skills, use rebirth if progress fully stalled. See Beat guides in our beginner and rebirth guides.
